There is a particular kind of fulfilment that comes not from doing something yourself, but from watching someone else learn to do it well. It is a feeling I have come to know deeply — and it is what drives my work both in practice and, now, in the lecture theatre.
I am genuinely proud to share that I have been appointed as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). It is an honour I do not take lightly. Teaching the next generation of dental professionals is a responsibility I embrace with both humility and real enthusiasm, because I believe that the knowledge we pass on today shapes the patient care of tomorrow.

Why I teach
My career in dentistry has taken me far beyond the dental chair. Over the years, I have developed a deep passion for the intersection of clinical excellence and the business of running a thriving, patient-centred practice. These two things are not in tension — in fact, when done well, they reinforce each other beautifully.

My clinical passion lies in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants — two fields that, at their best, have the power to transform not just smiles, but lives. I have spent years refining my skills across the full spectrum of cosmetic dental care: from smile design and composite bonding to porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dental implants represent one of the most significant advances in modern dentistry, offering patients a permanent, natural-feeling solution to tooth loss. My approach to implant treatment is thorough and patient-focused — from detailed initial assessment and treatment planning through to surgical placement and restoration, always to achieve a result that looks, feels, and functions beautifully.
What I bring to every cosmetic case is an artist’s eye combined with a clinician’s precision. I believe the most successful outcomes come when we truly listen to what our patients want, understand the anatomy and science underpinning what is achievable, and apply skill with genuine care and attention to detail.
Cosmetic dentistry, done right, is deeply personal. It starts with a conversation, not a treatment plan.

My appointment at BSMS is, in many ways, a reflection of a philosophy I have held throughout my career: that the best dental professionals are whole practitioners.
